our home
proud of our home in Angus Glen
Angus Glen Montessori School continues the legacy of learning in this prime Markham location, by incorporating the Colty’s Corners School heritage building which was constructed in 1862. Colty’s Corners School is believed to be the oldest surviving school building in the City of Markham. A new addition was designed to complement the historic component and our school now totals over 5,500 square feet. Angus Glen Montessori School is a one-stop shop for child care services, advanced learning and specialized program offerings to the surrounding neighborhood. We are an active member of the community, building a solid reputation with parents and the community. Our success supports our goal to become one of the best Montessori preschools in Markham.
distinct angus glen montessori features
Children are naturally energetic, and we believe it’s important to provide them with opportunities to be active. We have three different, secure outdoor play areas, to ensure small groups and quality interaction in safe and supervised playgrounds. Our teachers plan daily outdoor programs based on children’s skills and interests, and children enjoy free play to explore their imagination.
providing a safe, clean environment
Our teachers are not the building caretakers. We have contracted professional cleaners and a global leader in hygiene services to promote safe food, maintain clean environments.
Providing a safe and secure environment is also a priority. Access to our school is monitored; parents and staff are issued with entry fobs and doors remain locked at all times. We have security cameras inside the school and outside in the playgrounds. Our outdoor playgrounds are fully enclosed and children have adult supervision at all times.
