From exciting trips to holiday camps and family events, we offer additional programs aimed at continuous learning, building community and fulfilling your family’s needs.
organized field trips
Our fun and educational field trips encourage children to experience their world in a broader context. We take students to a variety of destinations such as a farm, museum, grocery store, golf venues, cooking classes and indoor playgrounds. We also pay visits to local Doctors and Dental offices to learn about the neighbourhood and help children become familiar with these professions.
kids camp
Our all-ages day camp programs, held summer, March break and December, enable families to maintain many of their routines already in place during the school year. Children respond well to remaining in familiar surroundings, with consistent menu choices, and many staff members from the school year. We welcome children who are not enrolled in our school to learn to play the Montessori way!
creating a caring culture
Our popular Family Appreciation Day (FAD) brings teachers, students and families together for a fun-filled annual outing. In addition, we encourage cultural diversity by recognizing different customs throughout the year, and we host a Mother’s Day breakfast and Valentine’s Day celebration. Parents come into the school to speak about their jobs, to participate by storytelling and join a classroom during Montessori week to quietly observe.
